Another fantastic night was had by all, attendance continues to grow, and this weeks demonstrations included using reflective floor and spotlight effects, the pictures below were taken on the night by the attendees and Lee Daniels won the prize for best entry. On thursday we had film and TV star Warwick Davis back in the studio.
Warwick needed some shots taking to be turned into his iPhone App coming out in June, and also for his LittlePeopleUk charity. As always it was a fun, often hilarious shoot as Warwick had to do a variety of expressions for the App.
Warwick has starred in such blockbuster films as Star Wars Empire Strikes Back, Harry Potter and Labrynth as well as recently in the extremely funny Life’s Too Short on the BBC yet is far from the Hollywood diva and its always a pleasure when he comes to the studio and always fun and relaxed, probably why he chooses Studio-One.

We had another great night at the studio on the 4th of April with lots of our photographers attending and learning multiple flash and long exposure techniques with the help of our two models from the evening, Lisa and Louise.

Despite coming a long way in his racing career, James Toseland has never lost sight of what really matters in life. The Yorkshireman has always believed in giving something back to those who need it most, which is reflected in his dedication to charity work across the UK.
In 2011, James will once again support two charities that are close to his heart – The Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Spinal Research. James regularly attends functions and ride outs on behalf of both charities and feels extremely privileged to be able to give something back to those in less fortunate positions.

Thousands turnded out for the 3rd Peterborough Italian Festival, including Studio one who were on tap to cover the event and capture the atmosphere. Antonio Carluccio kept the crowd engaged during a talk session and then helped round off the day with a book sighning at the Vistitor Center. Check out the main site to see how it went.

Studio One’s ongoing project to supply quality photography for Stilton Butchers website has paid dividends for the local company in the shape of the “Best website based business” award at the Meat Management Industry Awards.
The award was presented to James by soccer legend Jimmy Greaves at the Royal Kensington Hotel in London. Studio One has photographed just about every cut of meat that they supply in its raw state, and now is in the process of cooking and photographing the meat for cooked pictures of all the cuts too!
James is certain that he has the best photography on the web and that this has contributed significantly to winning the award.
